Michael and I did a 30-day green smoothie challenge in November and we've been hooked on them ever since! I've never been a huge kale fan, but I found out that I absolutely love it in smoothies! So I thought I'd share one of my favorite recipes with y'all!

Don't let the kale scare you! It's absolutely delicious and you feel great after drinking it! We like to make our smoothies at night and drink it in place of our dessert when we're feeling extra healthy!!

Oh, and if you want to get really crazy, you can add a pinch of cardamom! I love it in my smoothie, but Michael doesn't like it in his so I just add it to the top of mine! 

 

PEAR KALE SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

1 Cup Coconut Water
2 1/2 Cups Ice
1 Cup Water
2 Bananas
2 Pears
2 Cups Kale

Directions

Blend waters and ice to fine consistency. Add bananas and pears (remove the core). Remove the stems from the kale and add to the smoothie. Blend to desired consistency.
