In this coastal series, I’m hoping to capture the serenity that can only be found at the coast; the stillness that comes when tourist season ends and the fast pace of summer slows down into a morning stroll along the beach with a crisp breeze and the warmth of the sun promising a warmer afternoon is still to come. This collection of low country marsh scenes features large swooping skies, leading waters, and complex tonal color palettes that create a sense of calmness and peace.
