Michael and I were starting to feel kind of "blah" after being snowed in for two days, so we decided to make a green smoothie!  After drinking it, we both felt so much better and so energized!

This recipe is absolutely delicious! I LOVE ginger and would even add more the next time I make it, but if you're not a ginger fan then you could easily leave it out and it would still be fantastic! 



1 1/2 Cup Water
2 1/2 Cups Ice
1 1/2 Bananas
1 Pear (core removed)
2 Cups Spinach
1 Cup Pineapple (chunked)
1 Inch Cube Fresh Ginger Root (peeled)


Blend water and spinach to fine consistency. Add banana, pineapple, pear, and ginger. Add ice and blend to desired consistency.
