Floralscapes: Original Art - Colorful Floral Paintings

I’m so excited to introduce Floralscapes, my newest collection of original floral paintings inspired by beautiful tablescapes, gardens, and the beautiful places that become part of our memories.
As an artist, there are certain subjects I find myself returning to again and again, and flowers have always been one of them.
Maybe it’s because flowers have a way of marking the seasons of our lives. They’re there for celebrations and ordinary Tuesdays. They grow beside the places we call home, fill gardens we remember from childhood, sit on our kitchen counters, and somehow make their way into so many of our memories.
Floralscapes grew from that idea... the way flowers can hold both a sense of place and a sense of feeling.

The Inspiration Behind My Floralscapes Collection
As I began creating this collection, I knew I wanted these pieces to feel like more than traditional floral paintings.
I kept imagining flowers defining a space: adorning a table, spilling out of a garden, stretching across a field, or a simple floral display in a a market.
That’s where the name Floralscapes came from.
These original paintings live in the spaces where I imagine my floral art. They’re colorful, expressive scenes where flowers define the space.
Rather than painting every petal or leaf exactly as it appears, I love leaving room for imagination. I don't necessarily want to tell you exactly where you are or even exactly what kind of flower you're looking at.
Instead, I want the color, brushstrokes, texture, and movement to give you just enough, and allow your own memories to fill in the rest.

Contemporary Floral Art Inspired by Everyday Beauty
While painting Floralscapes, I found myself thinking a lot about joy.
Not necessarily the big, once-in-a-lifetime kind of joy, but the kind tucked into everyday life.
Flowers in a garden you pass on a walk. The floral shop you pass everyday on your way to work. A bouquet at the center of your cherished celebrations.
Those moments are so often they're the things we remember.
As a South Carolina artist, I’m constantly inspired by the color and beauty around me. Gardens, changing seasons, Southern landscapes, and the way flowers seem to spill into everyday life continue to find their way into my work.
With this collection, I wanted to take that inspiration and interpret it in a fresh, expressive way.

Colorful Original Paintings for Your Home
When I create original art for the home, I’m always thinking about how a painting will ultimately live beyond my studio.
I love the idea that a painting can completely change the feeling of a room. Original artwork can bring color to a neutral space, become the focal point of a room, or simply add something personal that you can't find in something mass-produced.
For Floralscapes, I played with layers of color, texture, loose edges, and expressive brushwork to create paintings that feel joyful and collected.
Some areas are more defined, while others almost disappear.
Up close, you'll see individual brushstrokes, unexpected colors, and layers of paint. Step farther away, and those marks begin to come together into a floral landscape.
That push and pull between abstraction and representation is one of my favorite parts of painting.

Original Floral Paintings by C. Brooke Ring
Every piece in the Floralscapes Collection is an original work of art painted by me in my South Carolina studio.
While the collection shares a common inspiration, each painting has its own personality. Some feel like wandering through a garden, while others capture the openness of a flower-filled landscape.
My hope is that these paintings don't just coordinate with a room.
I hope they mean something to the person who brings them home.
Maybe a painting reminds you of your grandmother's garden, a place you visited on a favorite trip, flowers that grew outside your childhood home, or simply a season of life you never want to forget.
That's one of the things I love most about original art: the same painting can hold an entirely different story for each person who sees it.
Shop the Floralscapes Original Art Collection August 27
The Floralscapes Collection launches Thursday, August 27 at 9 PM EST on cbrookering.com.
My email subscribers will receive exclusive early access beginning at 8 PM EST, one hour before the collection becomes available publicly.
Every Floralscapes piece is an original painting, which means there is only one of each available. Once a painting has found its home, it's gone.
I can’t wait to finally share this collection with you.
More than anything, I hope you find a piece that reminds you of somewhere, or someone, you love. A garden, a celebration,or simply the feeling of stopping long enough to notice something beautiful.
Welcome to Floralscapes.
With love,
Brooke
