In my last post, I shared the quiet beginnings of a new floral collection—one rooted in softness, stillness, and a renewed sense of reverence. At the time, the paintings were just starting to take shape, but I could already feel the direction they were pulling me in. The vision was there. I just needed to follow it.

Now, with the pieces continuing to unfold in the studio, I’m excited to share the name of the collection:

Chasing Light

This name captures the essence of what I’ve been exploring through paint: following the light, embracing subtle shifts, and allowing each piece to evolve naturally. It’s about trusting the process, staying present, and honoring the beauty found in fleeting moments.

The Collection in Progress
While the collection is still coming together, the palette and mood are fully realized—soft neutrals, sun-washed tones, layered brushstrokes, and quiet movement. Some pieces are complete, others are still in progress, but the heart of the collection is already present in every canvas.
Each floral feels like a breath—gentle, expressive, and full of intention.

A Peek Into the Photoshoot
Recently, I had the opportunity to style and photograph a selection of the finished and in-progress works in a variety of interior spaces that brought new life to the collection. It was important to me to show how these pieces live beyond the studio—how they speak to a space.

Here are a few ways we envisioned Chasing Light in the home:

In a transitional entryway, paired with organic textures and natural wood, the artwork sets a grounded, welcoming tone.

In a moody, color-drenched office, the softness of the florals adds contrast and depth, becoming a striking focal point.

In a light and airy bedroom, the paintings echo the natural light and bring a sense of calm and serenity.

In a classic neutral dining room, the soft brushwork and subtle palette elevate the space while keeping it timeless and warm.

Each room revealed a different facet of the work—proof that these paintings can complement a wide range of interiors while bringing a sense of light and movement into the everyday.
