Last month, I had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with the team at AmericasMart for VOW: New World of Bridal. VOW is a 4-day show in Atlanta that debuts fashion designers' bridal/formal wear lines from around the globe.

It was such an honor to create a floral painting specifically for the event that was used as the artwork and decor throughout the show.

My paintings were enlarged to cover the building, wrap the elevators, and serve as the backdrops for window displays. They also used my designs for promotion on their website, print invitations and programs, and special thank you gifts for attendees.

I will never forget the butterflies in my stomach, as I stepped into the building and saw my florals in a larger-than-life format. It was completely surreal and one of my most favorite collaborations that I've done so far in my career.

In addition to creating the artwork for the event, the team at AmericasMart Atlanta invited me to live paint during the runway show. I absolutely love live painting and jumped at the opportunity, because really - who could say no to fashion + art?!

Check out some of my photos from the evening! I'm still finishing up the painting that I started that night, but I will be posting the completed piece soon! Once it is finished, AmericasMart will be hanging my artwork in their permanent collection, so if you're ever at market you will be able to see my painting on display!
